Today in Fashion Latest Trends and Tastes take a Peculiar Turn

Do you remember how when you were 15, your parents hated your choice in music, fashion, movies and books? They seemed to think that it was fine when they pushed the envelope when they were young; but when you did it, they were completely sure that it was in bad taste and that the world was going to pot. Well, it looks like it's your turn now to be disapproving of the direction that young people are taking the world in now. In fashion, latest trends and tastes seem to be taking a rather strange turn. Let's look at some of the more peculiar fashion trends were seeing today.

People want patterns on everything these days - not just on their clothes and accessories. And that means getting a manicure and pedicure in the snakeskin style. Does that mean that they use some kind of thick nail gloss that they mold in the snakeskin pattern? Not really. They stick real or plastic snakeskin to your nails. Did you think that coloring your nails to the same shade as your accessories was good enough? Apparently, you now have to have the same texture as well. But of course, it doesn't stop with snakeskin. Incoco, a company that's a well-known to nail fans makes little molded and patterned things made of and tried nail polish to stick on your nails – in all kinds of patterns. And they come in leopard print, zebra print and everything else. And oh, you get the same thing for your lips as well.

If you think this is kind of surprising fashion, latest trends and tastes have a lot left to surprise you with. Let's take up perfume. With both men and women, smelling good has always been a part of getting ready for anything. The current thinking though is that it's not enough for perfume to just smell good. It has to look good on your face too. And so, in keeping with that idea, the Boudicca's Wode Paint Perfume has color. It's blue colored paint that you soak your face in. Luckily, it disappears once it is rubbed in. And oh, it kind of smells like leather. Once you're ready to go out on a date with snakeskin on your nails and surrounded by an aura of leather, you might be willing to consider a slightly more adventurous kind of perfume. How about one that smells like a Fat Electrician or one that's called Don't Get Me Wrong Baby, I Don't Swallow. No they don't make these perfumes to smell like unwashed jeans and a stale morning after. But they do try to make them smell like the body's natural juices. Well, whatever floats your boat. In fashion, latest trends need to break new taboos.
